About

snapeandheather
Heather Grothaus has published twelve medieval romances since 2006, which
have been translated into several foreign languages. Her thirteenth, THE LAIRD’S VOW, releases in September 2019. Heather fell in love with historical romance after reading a Kathleen E. Woodiwiss novel when she was far too young to be doing so and has never looked back, building a reputation for crafting twisting adventures, laugh-out-loud dialogue, and heart-wrenching emotion. When she’s not writing, she loves hanging out with her (brilliant and gorgeous) children, reading, and watching every BBC mystery and crime show available. She lives on a small farm in Kentucky.

Fun Facts

THE WARRIOR was the first manuscript Heather had ever written, and was originally titled The Blessing.

Heather’s favorite fictional character is Severus Snape.

If she wasn’t an author, Heather’s dream occupations would be farming
full-time, or being a member of the British royal family.

Heather wrote each installment of her Medieval Warriors trilogy in a
spiralbound notebook, with a pencil.

Heather is an INTJ on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
